MIMT Society

Motherhood University, Roorkee is being run under Motherhood Institute of Management & Technology Society. The society was established on dated 23 December, 2004 with the objective to provide education, research and training to aspire youth of Uttarakhand and the Country in order to increase their objective of the society are to establish orphanage, clinics old age homes and Charitable Trust.

The society was founded by a famous Social worker Shri K.D. Sharma, he believes that though Uttarakhand has been a separate State now, it still requires enhancement in the field of education. With this mind Shri K.D. Sharma has founded this society technical programme for those children who are still deprive of quality education and started B.Ed. Programme initially.

By the numerous efforts of the society BBA ,BCA,B.Com and B.Lib Courses has been started from the academic session 2007-2008 affiliated to Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University Srinagar Uttarakhand –from the academic session 2011-2012 , B.Sc. (IT), B.Sc. (Microbiology), B.Sc. (Biotechnology), M.Sc. (Microbiology) and M.Lib. courses are also being started by the society affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun (Uttarakhand) B.Sc. (PCM) B.Sc. (Agriculture) M.Sc. in different disciplines and M.Com courses are also started from the academic session 2013-14 only, under the aegis of MIMT Society.

Society is also going to start a Private University in the name of Motherhood University Roorkee established under Uttarakhand Govt. Act 5 of 2015 from the academic session 2015-16.

Various other courses are also being offered by the University being run by the Society like Management Courses, Post Graduates Courses, Education Courses i.e. B.Ed., Agriculture Science courses, Diploma Courses in Engineering etc. By next Session University will also offer L.L.B. And B.A. L.L.B. programme.

To boost vocational and technical Education Motherhood Institute of Management & Technology society also started Diploma in engineering courses in various discipline from the academic session 2010-2011, affiliated to Uttarakhand Board Of Technical Education, Roorkee (UBTER) L.L.B. and B.A. L.L.B. programme duly affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University , Dehradun , Uttarakhand from the academic session 2015-16 Society is focusing to provide meaningful education to youths, enhance skill development which would shape the future of students and create opportunities for the employment of the youths.
